FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - MISCELLANEOUS
Provides limited emergency financial assistance for a variety of needs such as transportation (gas and taxi) or telephone bills under extraordinary circumstances. Elligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. Policy of UCM is to have a co-pay loan that involves the client in the process; therefore, clients are asked to sign a loan repayment agreement. The amount of assistance is limited to under $200. Clients needing more than $200 are referred to Human Services Coordinated Services Planning for assessment and coordination of services if a package is to be raised.
